I’ve been experimenting with rotation recently. Naturally we assume gravity is “down.” However, in photography we can manipulate this by simple rotating the image. Some images this works, some it doesn’t. I find that to shift our perception, there has to be a new sort of “virtual” gravity that we can latch onto. The rest our minds just sort of fill in.
